When is Drain Tracing or Mapping Required?

Drain tracing is a diagnostic process to help us gain a better understanding of your drainage system. Using specialist equipment, electrical pulses are transmitted through the ground to allow us to map our the directional flow and depth of your drainage pipes, and also locate hidden objects such as buried manholes, septic tanks and collapsed pipes.

It can also be used to map out your entire drain system in cases where drainage plans have been misplaced or never created. It is also often a requirement of a build over drain survey if you are planning on building close to, or on top of a local authority sewer.
